Seekers Rehearsal Images
by Krzysztof on Aug.28, 2011, under ABSOLUT Fringe, Performance, Peter Pans
Last Friday during our rehearsal for the new performance “Seekers” we were joined by two great photographers who were kind enough to take some promo images. The results of their work can be viewed in our ‘Photo Gallery’ section of the website. It’s absolutely amazing to see what a professional photographer can do by just applying his skills to what he does with passion!
We would like to say BIG THANK YOU to Tom Olejnik (http://www.fotolejnik.com/) and Szymon Lazewski (http://www.fotofarm.ie/) for their time and help. Without people like you it would be impossible to make this something special for all of us.

Here are the details about our show in ABSOLUT Fringe 2011:
SEEKERS at ABSOLUT Fringe 2011
by 50% Male Experimental Theatre
Tickets: http://www.fringefest.com/
We bend over backwards. We stretch ourselves, aiming for a well-paid job and a comfortable life. We’re constantly reaching out, for family, for love and exhausting ourselves for a passionate embrace. How badly can we lose ourselves in the rush of trying to achieve it all? What happens to us when we get everything we want in life?
A multi-layered tale told through movement, gesture, dance and wrapped in music and rich visuals, this is a universal story that questions our search for happiness.
50% Male Experimental Theatre fuse story and dance to illustrate the underbelly of our society. We are delighted to welcome them to ABSOLUT Fringe for the first time this year. -FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

“Peter Pans”
A generation of people who don’t want to grow up.
Project Arts Centre 19-21 April 2011
“Peter: Forget them, Wendy. Forget them all. Come with me where you’ll never, never have to worry about grown up things again.
Wendy: Never is an awfully long time.”
Choreographed by Anna Gąciarz, Peter Pans explores the syndrome of the same name, a generation of people who don’t want to grow up and who find it difficult to express love. This is a generation that wants their early adulthood to never end- people with the body of an adult but the mind of a child. They want to be entertained and have fun. Let the future take care of itself.
Brought to you by 50% Male Experimental Theatre, a multicultural group from Poland, Ireland and, Uzbekistan, Peter Pans is an amazing spectacle and a story that is funny, touching, raw and, ultimately, true. Be part of it and try to find an answer to a lifelong question: will they ever grow up?

Extra Information:
50% Male Experimental Theatre is comprised of three female and three male performers and this, their debut show, tells its story through the universal body language of physical theatre. The 6-strong cast all have wildly different back-stories, complimentary skills and a tendency to crack up at tender, ‘sensitive’ moments. The group is a multicultural art project and they are from Poland, Ireland and, Uzbekistan. They are dancers and stilt-walkers, office workers and visual artists, jokers and choreographers. The group first got together in February 2009 and, discovering an amazing chemistry, decided to create a universal tale about their generation.
